Competency and Compliance
Competences are attached in ESR to your job role and when
you do the training you get the competency. For example you
have to do Health, Safety and Welfare every three years so
there is a competency called this which is attached to your job
role.
Compliance is when you have completed the training.
in ESR your compliance shows as what we call a "traffic light
system"
If you have not done the training, your competency shows as
RED.
If you have done the training your competency will show as
GREEN or, if you are due to do it again in the next three
months, it will show as AMBER.
Following up on training not completed
The Trust needs to know that you have completed any
mandatory training you need to do. It is part of our job to check
this and contact you and your manager about any training that
has not been done. If you have any problems doing your
mandatory training please contact us immediately and we will
help you.
