Why we ask you to complete your personal data on ESR?
The Inclusion Team use anonymised ESR data to help create action plans that will be used by
the Trust to improve staff experiences. ESR enables the recording and reporting of demographic
data to help organisations demonstrate compliance with equality legislation. Demographic refers
to the characteristics, traits, and qualities that make us who we are, such as race or age. We will
share a range of data with you in this quarterly update,
Disability Data
The Trust currently employs 8674 staff. Of this number 4.76% have told us they have a disability,
69.26% have stated they have no disability and 25.97% have not declared this information. Did
you know if you have a Disability or Long Term Condition you could receive support through
reasonable adjustments, why not talk to your line manager or HR Advisor for more advice. You
could also come along to our Positive Health Network.
The Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) and the Workforce Disability Standard (WDES)
are mandatory Trust submissions that compare the experiences of BME and White staff (WRES)
and Disabled and Non-Disabled staff (WDES) on an annual basis. Updating your anonymous
equality data on ESR helps us identify and remove barriers for staff.
Both WDES and WRES measure staff experience from April 1st to March 31st each year. You
can click the links below to see infographics based on our results last year. This year we have
been meeting with staff from across the organisation to help us plan our action plan to improve
our results.
